Questions, answered

The pre-purchase questions that come up most often — answered plainly, with no marketing fluff.

How is this different from Zapier / n8n?

Buildweave replaces drag-and-drop visual builders with plain-English descriptions. You describe the process and the AI produces triggers, steps, and conditions as a structured workflow — no canvas to wire up, no JSON to write by hand. Unlike Zapier (priced per task run, so bills explode at volume) and n8n or Make (which require a technical owner to maintain), Buildweave is flat-rate and built for non-technical operators. You describe, click activate, and the platform runs the workflow from there.

What does it cost today?

Free to start, and no credit card required to try it. Paid plans start at $29/mo (Starter) and $79/mo (Pro) — flat monthly, no per-task billing. See the full pricing matrix for what's included at each tier.

Do I need to write code?

No. Describe the workflow in plain English — "when a new Stripe payment arrives, add a row to my Google Sheet with the amount, customer name, and date" — and the AI generates the structured workflow definition. You read it, click activate, and you're done. If you want to inspect or edit the JSON underneath, that's exposed, but you never have to touch it.

What can the webhooks actually trigger?

Every Buildweave workflow exposes a unique webhook URL (/api/webhooks/<id>). Any service that can send an HTTP POST can fire it — Stripe, Shopify, GitHub, your internal apps, a cron job, even another Zap. Once triggered, the workflow's steps fan out to other HTTP calls, with branching conditions you either describe in plain English or refine by hand.

Where does my workflow data live and who can see it?

Workflow definitions and execution logs live in our PostgreSQL database, hosted on Neon. Access is scoped per-account — only you can see yours. We don't sell or share workflow content, and the same encryption-in-transit (HTTPS) and access-control posture you'd expect from any SaaS you'd already trust.
